What to do right now
A few simple things protect your home until we get there.
Catch the water
Put a bucket, tote, or towels under the drip. If the ceiling is bulging, poke a small hole to let it drain into the bucket so it does not spread.
Move what matters
Slide furniture, electronics, and anything you care about out from under the leak. Cover what you cannot move.
Photos from the ground
If it is safe and dry, take a few pictures from the ground. They help us come prepared. Only if it is safe.
